Kale Huddleston has put in the hard yards with Sole Landscapes and, in less than three years, has progressed from the position of labourer to site forman.
After finishing high school, Kale joined Sole Landscapes and was quickly bitten by the landscaping bug!
“I’m really passionate about landscaping and believe I’ve developed a proven track record of delivering quality work. I’ve progressed quickly since I started nearly three years ago, and have already completed my Level 3 and Level 4 NZ Certification in Horticulture – Landscape Construction”
With expertise in project management, tiling and paving, Kale is competing in Young Landscaper of the Year for the first time. Sole Landscapes director Jono Sole is confident Kale has what it takes to go far!
“Kale has been a valuable member of our team for a few years now. After working his way up from the position of labourer, Kale is able to competently run sites including setting out and project implementation, as well as management of staff and sub-contractors. There is no problem too hard for Kale and this is shown by his willingness to learn and improve.
“Additionally, Kale has a good understanding of various materials and their use in a landscape environment. I have no doubt Kale will be a strong competitor.”
