Timber decking

Timber decking is still a hard kiwi favourite for decking - and for good reason. It looks great, is made from natural ingredients and can be modified to increase its versatility!

Vulcan thermally modified timber (TMT)

TMT is manufactured from Kiwi Radiata pine. It has been thermally modified and treated with an organic preservative that gives decks water repellent properties. The thermal treatment also results in a deck that is more stable but with less resin content and has a rich, brown colour.

It is available in 142mm x 27mm finished sizing and with one face custom griptread profile.

Quartersawn key deck

Quartersawn key deck is made from NZ-grown Radiata pine. It’s quarter-sawn milled, which makes the timber more stable and less likely to crack, and is pre-stained. Treated for durability with micronised copper azole H3.2 treatment, it is a more environmentally friendly timber.

It’s available in:

  • Six groove profile.

  • Natural amber, antique grey and highland copper colours.

  • 90 x 21mm, 90 x 32mm and 110 x 21mm.

Accoya Decking

Accoya Decking takes sustainably managed soft wood and turns it into an environmentally friendly hardwood via a non-toxic process. It offers outstanding durability and stability performance, while being the sustainable choice for environmentally conscious customers.

It is available in:

  • A smooth profile.

  • 140 x 19mm finished sizing.

  • Grey or natural colours.
