PLAZROK PAVERS
Plazrok Pavers is an innovative alternative to traditional paving materials. Manufactured using Plazrok Aggregate, the product incorporates 88% post-consumer plastic waste, reimagined through a proprietary composite process to create a strong yet lightweight paving solution.
This shift toward engineered aggregates reflects a broader move within the landscape industry toward more sustainable construction practices. By diverting plastic waste from landfill and repurposing it into functional building materials, products such as Plazrok offer a practical way for designers and contractors to reduce environmental impact without compromising performance.
From a usability perspective, the lighter weight of the pavers can simplify handling and installation on site, a benefit that can translate into time and labour savings. Their consistent finish and contemporary appearance also make them well suited to a wide range of applications, from residential patios and pathways to commercial courtyards and outdoor gathering spaces.
Importantly, the pavers have been developed with New Zealand conditions in mind, ensuring they meet the durability requirements expected in diverse climates and environments.
As the industry increasingly embraces circular design principles, materials that balance form, function and sustainability are becoming essential. Plazrok Pavers represent a step in that direction, offering landscape professionals a way to specify surfaces that not only enhance outdoor spaces but also contribute to a more responsible built environment.
In today’s landscapes, paving is part of the experience and material selection is becoming of greater importance.

RUSK WAI PAVE FROM HORIZON INTERNATIONAL
Wai Pave permeable pavers offer an exciting new solution when it comes to preserving the environment, managing storm water, and maintaining natural cycles.
Wai Pavers are manufactured from 97% recycled porcelain and 3% new clay. As they’re bound together by heat and pressure, they don’t contain any glue, resin or cement.
Wai Pavers are available in a wide range of sizes and colours to allow flexibility in design – from high traffic areas to patios and paths. All sizes are suitable for foot traffic with excellent anti-slip properties. Contact us to discuss vehicle traffic requirements.
Wai Pavers offer a number of advantages over other permeable solutions, such as:
• Flexible design thanks to the range of sizes
.• The colour is permanent thanks to its fired porcelain state and does not stain.
• The pavers themselves hold 11L of water.
• Less pressure on drains due to rainwater passing through at a rate of up to 660mm per hour with zero runoff
.• Temperature reduction due to its ability to reduce surface heat by up to 10° or more.

FUTURE POST ECO SOLUTIONS
Future Post is transforming New Zealand’s plastic waste into durable, eco-friendly fencing solutions. Founded by fencer and farmer Jerome Wenzlick, the company was inspired by a practical problem – traditional timber fence posts breaking when driven into buried plastic waste. That challenge sparked an innovative idea – turning waste plastic into strong, long-lasting fence posts that address both environmental and agricultural concerns.
Each Future Post is made from 100% recycled plastic collected through partnerships and initiatives such as the Soft Plastic Recycling Scheme, which has more than 220 drop-off points nationwide. The company recycles up to 4,500 tonnes of waste plastic each year – equivalent to around 100 million milk bottles or 672 million plastic bags – helping reduce landfill waste.
Designed for durability, Future Posts will not rot, split or crack and are resistant to water, frost, insects and fungi. Their non-conductive properties remove the need for insulators in electric fencing, while UV stabilisation gives them a lifespan of more than 50 years. Free from copper, chromium and arsenic (CCA), they are also suitable for organic farming and garden use.
Future Posts are used across agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, equine, marine and lifestyle sectors, offering a low-maintenance and sustainable alternative to timber.
Importantly, the posts are fully recyclable at the end of their life, supporting a circular economy approach to resource management.

REPOST SUSTAINABLE FENCING
In the heart of Marlborough’s wine country, Repost is tackling a major environmental challenge by giving discarded vineyard posts a second life as sustainable farm fencing.
Each year, the viticulture industry breaks hundreds of thousands of CCA-treated posts. Because of their arsenic content, they cannot be safely burned or recycled like standard timber, leaving landfill as the usual outcome. Repost is changing that by repurposing the posts into durable fencing products.
Founded five years ago by Greg and Dansy Coppell on their sheep and beef farm in St Arnaud, the business began as a practical solution to a fencing problem. Faced with 30km of fencing and a limited budget, Greg started salvaging broken vineyard posts from nearby Marlborough vineyards.
What began with a homemade hydraulic nail puller quickly grew as neighbouring farmers saw the value in the recycled timber.
Today, Repost operates nationwide, producing independently tested H4-standard fence posts that are lightweight, affordable and suited to farmers, gardeners and fencing contractors alike.
Through a growing partnership with Mitre 10, Repost products are now available in select stores and online, helping expand access to sustainable fencing solutions across New Zealand.
The company is on track to surpass one million reused posts sold by the end of this year, reducing landfill waste, while supporting a more circular approach to resource use.
